Meet The Team: Ashley Richardson

Ashley is BlueConduit’s Associate Product Manager. Here’s a quick Q&A with Ashley.

Why did you join BlueConduit?

I joined BlueConduit because I was really attracted to the social mission. Lead has been an ongoing problem that not a lot of people took interest in and I also enjoy the machine learning and the technical side of things. My previous skillset perfectly aligned with BlueConduit’s mission. I come from a service family, so we like doing service initiatives and I also have that technical expertise.

What professional experience and expertise do you bring to BlueConduit?

I come from a startup automation background so I really like the experimentation and scrappiness and innovation that comes with the startup lifestyle. I also enjoy working with automation and AI machine learning. I’ve taken a personal interest in the data science side of things so I thought it would be something interesting I would enjoy working on on a daily basis, but also complements my previous skillset well.

What does a day in the life of BlueConduit’s Associate Product Manager?

It consists of meeting and collaborating with stakeholders from engineering to data science from product leadership and customer success. We assess customer success needs and see how well we’re meeting those needs through the product. It’s basically just collaborating on solutions to see if we can build out a future that we can help with those needs, or if it’s something a little more simple as far as the user experience goes.

What work accomplishments are you most proud of and what goals have you prioritized for this year?

I think my work accomplishments I’m most proud of would be building out our internal system to allow us to all collaborate and communicate more efficiently. For the rest of the year I’d really like to focus on onboarding new customers, hearing new customer stories and doing the research and development, but also seeing how the experimentation lands and assessing those different data points to come up with an analysis to better improve the product. I think that we are at a point where now that our product is made, we’re more so focused on making improvements and seeing how we can better create a wholistic product.

How do you spend your time outside of work?

Outside of work I like sleeping! I love to spend time with friends and family and my dog. I also like aesthetics, so I’m really into doing Pinterest boards and things like that.

Sydney Solomon is BlueConduit’s Operations Support & Marketing Coordinator. She assists in daily operational functions and content marketing upkeep efforts at BlueConduit. Before working for BlueConduit, Sydney worked in childcare and was inspired to begin work in LSL replacement knowing the dangerous effects it could have on children. Working at BlueConduit inspires her to educate the public about this social justice issue.
