BlueConduit announces Lorne Groe as CEO
BlueConduit is excited to announce Lorne Groe as our Chief Executive Officer.
Lorne Groe is an experienced startup leader. Lorne was most recently the CFO/COO at two very successful venture-backed Ann Arbor startups (4 yrs DeepField Networks + 4 yrs Censys) and served as interim-CEO (9 mo. at Censys). Before embracing the tech startup life, Lorne spent ten years in corporate development (acquiring and integrating startups) for two public companies, and prior to that, ten years as a technology investment banker in Silicon Valley.
He has a unique leadership balance of financial depth with great organizational management. As he has built companies, he has paid careful attention to creating vision and strategy, along with strong teams and culture. He is passionate about BlueConduit’s mission of using data for good. Lorne is certified in Conscious Capitalism and is a frequent guest lecturer on venture capital at University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business and College of Engineering. Both professionally and personally he has shown a devotion to environmental sustainability, DEI, and public health.
Lorne will work closely with our founders, Eric Schwartz and Jake Abernethy, our team, our investors, and our customers to grow our impact and chart our future beyond lead.
