Meet the Team: Dunrie Greiling

From the Blog

Dunrie is BlueConduit’s Vice President of Marketing. Here’s a quick Q&A with Dunrie.

Why did you join BlueConduit?

Water is life. Access to clean water is a right.

Simply put, I admired what BlueConduit has already accomplished and wanted to help expand the platform and help local officials and engineering companies Get the Lead Out across North America.

What professional experience and expertise do you bring to BlueConduit?

I have a nonlinear career and BlueConduit brings together many elements of my interests and talents.

I have a Ph.D. in Biology, specifically plant ecology, so statistics as well as systems-thinking is part of my training and world-view. Throughout my career, I have worked in science and software startups in many roles, usually marketing and communications-related. I’ve also run a marketing agency and been an independent consultant. In my work at BlueConduit, I get to apply what I’ve learned in marketing, communications, and leadership to make a difference for communities across the nation.

What does a day in the life of BlueConduit’s Marketing Department look like?

In a fast-paced startup, each day is different, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I spend a fair bit of time in meetings. I would not get anything done without the insights, talent, and good cheer of the BlueConduit team and our marketing partners. I spend time in HubSpot, WordPress, Google Analytics, and spreadsheets.

Nothing makes me happier than when a web form inquiry comes in, so when that happens I do a happy dance in my chair.

What work accomplishments are you most proud of and what goals have you prioritized for this year?

I love building websites and content, so I’m very proud of the new site, launched in April, 2022. I’m also proud of our explainer video, published in June 2022. You can see it on the LSL Solutions page.

For the rest of the year, we will be focused on getting the word out so we can Get the Lead Out nationwide and across the globe

How do you spend your time outside of work?

Each week, I look forward to one night on the weekend where we host or attend a small dinner party with close friends. I knit, play with my cat, and do yoga. Outdoors, I walk in all weather, and in good weather I love to swim, kayak, sail, and fish (although I prefer the boat ride to the fishing) – pretty much anything on the water.
